Anxiety can be difficult to manage, especially if we overlook the deeper causes behind it. In my practice, I believe that careful, detailed assessments are key. When treating anxiety, I don't just focus on symptoms—I dig into lifestyle factors, stress levels, diet, and sleep patterns. These are crucial pieces of the puzzle that often go unnoticed but can have a significant impact on your mental health.

At times, conventional medicine isn't necessary to find relief. I've found that using natural supplements, or nutraceuticals, such as lavender, chamomile, valerian root, and l-theanine can be a great starting point for some people. These remedies can gently soothe the nervous system and promote calm without the need for prescription medications.

I'm particularly passionate about the role of diet in mental health, especially when working with women who have experienced trauma. An anti-inflammatory diet can make a big difference, helping to reduce the physical stress on the body and improve overall well-being.

By using an integrative approach, I aim to address anxiety holistically—considering not just the mind, but the whole person. This path may take a little more time and attention, but the results can be truly transformative.
